NH Public TV Family Nights

Programs produced and conducted by New Hampshire Public Television are funded by the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club.

The following are Wednesday evenings:

InnSeason Resort South Mountain has been generous in letting us host these programs at the Village Shops.

Family Literacy was scheduled 6:30 p.m. 5/14/08


Family Math
This event was held 3/26/08. Pauline Harrington, a former math teacher, graciously filled in last minute and provided fun puzzles and math activities. A wonderful and educational time was had by all who attended. See "photo album".

Family Science Night for Grades K-5

This Family Science Night focused on the properties, value, and uses of water and caring for the environment. It featured a Reading Rainbow video clip, which included Gerald Aschenbrenner's book Jack, the Seal, and the Sea, a visit to San Francisco Bay to learn about preserving the ocean, and a look at cleaning up after the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The evening also had an icebreaker, three hands-on activities, resources, and books. This event was held Wednesday, January 9, 6:30-8 p.m. The program was enjoyed by all participants.
